Industry Description
A tan/brown translucent emulsion with bacon bits mixed throughout. The flavor has some dairy notes with a bacon flavor. The product shall show no evidence of syneresis and shall comply with the provisions of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
Ingredients
Water, corn syrup, soybean oil, sugar, distilled vinegar, high fructose corn syrup, modified corn starch, bacon (cured with water, salt, sugar, sodium phosphate, sodium erythorbate, sodium nitrate, (may contain smoke flavor, maple syrup, artificial maple flavoring, malt syrup, natural flavorings, artificial flavor, caramel color, vanillin, honey, maple sugar, hydrolyzed soy and corn protein, monosodium glutamate), rendered bacon fat, textured vegetable protein (soy flour, artificial flavoring) water, salt, smoke flavoring, and antioxidant (BHT, BHA)), ham flavor (hydrolyzed corn gluten, soy protein and wheat gluten, autolyzed yeast extract, partially hydrogenated soybean and cottonseed oils, thiamine hydrochloride, dextrose, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate, and artificial flavor), dehydrated onion, salt, monosodium glutamate, sodium benzoate added as a preservative, onion powder, spice, natural flavor.
